Two councils of ten
Pick the room that fits your decision. Each advisor holds a distinct, defensible worldview — none of them overlap.
The Strategic Corporate Council
Regulation, technology, unit economics, ethics, speed and corporate politics.
“Governance that doesn't map to enforceable regulation is theatre. EU AI Act, NDPR, GDPR, AU framework — everything else is fashion.”
Their challenge: Show me which articles, sections, and enforcement triggers each decision maps to. If you cannot, you are operating on feeling, not law.
“Policy without technical fluency creates leaders who get lied to by their own engineers. Read the model card or stop talking.”
Their challenge: How much of this plan touches actual artefacts — datasets, deployment logs, model behavior? If it's abstract, it's LARP.
“Sentiment doesn't pay the bills. Unit economics do. Willingness to pay, conversion, LTV, refund rate — or it dies in version two.”
Their challenge: Name the acquisition channel, the CAC ceiling, and the break-even number. Vague 'go-to-market' is not an answer.
“Frameworks are downstream of principles. If you can recite the framework but cannot articulate the wrong, you've built a credentialing mill.”
Their challenge: Where does someone defend an unpopular position under cross-examination? If nowhere, you are teaching conformity.
“40 to 60 percent disengage by week four. Beautiful plans die on the rocks of operations: time zones, accountability, bandwidth.”
Their challenge: What is the week-four retention plan, the staffing ratio, the escalation path when a group goes silent?
“Whose context are you assuming? Importing EU norms wholesale into other jurisdictions is compliance colonialism.”
Their challenge: How does this treat African, Latin American, and South Asian realities? Are the cases sourced there or bolted on?
“AI moves faster than your syllabus. Cohort and waterfall plans are obsolete for fast-moving domains. Modular, just-in-time, async.”
Their challenge: Defend this form against a faster, modular alternative on outcomes — not on community feel-good narratives.
“Hiring managers don't yet price this. Without market signal, you're selling content and community, not mobility.”
Their challenge: Show three named decision-makers who would prefer your output over a candidate without it, at the same band.
“Inside real companies, the work gets diluted by legal, product, and revenue. Without political training, your people burn out in six months.”
Their challenge: Where do learners practice the politics — building coalitions, surviving budget cuts, defending unpopular vetoes?
“Show the evidence base. Which interventions have been validated for adult professional learning? Otherwise this is pedagogy by vibes.”
Their challenge: Cite the studies justifying your design choices. 'Best practices' without citations is folklore.
